World War One Project
Using the advanced search feature of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission we can easily detect that at least nine men who resided or were linked to Walnut Tree Close died as a result of the war. I am sure that more men served or perhaps served and did not provide other details that confirms that they were connected to Walnut Tree Close.
I am therefore researching the nine men who were known to have died during this time and the research is ongoing to locate others.
The plan is to build a biographical portfolio of those that served and the names listed below. I have created a community at the Lives of the First World War site.
